Now that the hurried days of the holidays are behind us we can take a minute to catch our breath and let the thoughts of 2021 flow. What better way to start 2022 than to release a backlog of item reviews? Without further adoo allow us to share some wisdom about our favorite peepeepoopoo items.
The reality is, poop happens. Especially if your home has pets. This pile of products will help you tackle tinkle and dispense with doody.
Number 1 - Unique Pet Care
From coffee to wine and sweat to urine Unique goes to work breaking down the stain and smell. Simply put, Unique contains an environmentally friendly bacteria that eats the contents of stains and odors. As the bacteria knocks out the stain it produces an enzyme that helps dissolve more of the mess. What remains is just water and CO2. After using Unique a few times with our own messes we decided to make this product Dolittle’s only household cleaner. When you find the best, why offer less?
Number 2 - BeyondGREEN Poop Bags
Lots of poop bags give you the impression that they are recyclable or biodegradable. Unfortunately the majority of them are just made from recycled material. While that is great, and really should be the minimum that you look for, many of these items do not break down over time. BeyondGREEN is made from plant polymers which break down and could even cycle through a hot compost process. Don’t sweat though, BeyondGREEN bags are still strong enough to do their duty.
Number 3 - WizSmart
For years Dolittle’s did not sell wee pads. Our greatest concern was how these items have a negative impact on the environment. Finally, WizSmart has come along with a product that’s both effective and conscience of the environment. These fantastic pee pads are made from reclaimed unused diapers. WizSmart has solved our wee little problem, they can solve yours too.
Number 4 - Super Snouts: Urinary Berry
Spotting urinary troubles can be tough. Dolittle’s first recommendation is to increase water availability either by having a fountain or adding water to the food. From there we suggest a dark berry supplement like Urinary Berry from Super Snouts. Dark berries like blueberries and cranberries are known to protect the urinary tract by reducing build up.
Number 5 - Dog Rocks
Are you seeing yellow stains in your yard? Dog Rocks are the answer. Next time you pour a bowl of water make sure it’s on the rocks. Dog Rocks naturally absorb impurities in the water like tin, nitrates and ammonia. Even better, Dog Rocks create an ion exchange that gets consumed by your dog which will eventually have a positive impact on their urine. Sustainably Yours is made from sustainable (imagine that) cassava root. The fine granules of the litter clump amazingly well and control the odor like any litter we have ever encountered. Number 7 - Litter Lifter
We always smile when we read “Save 30 to 72 hours a year” on the label of the Litter Lifter. While we’re not sure of the study that proves this, we remain impressed by the ability of this unique scoop to swoop through a litter box and catch only clumps. We’re going to spend a weekend at the beach with our saved hours. How about you?
Number 8 - Super Scooper & Scraper
It’s true, sometimes we buy pet products simply for our own personal use. This pooper scooper is a perfect example. Cleaning the yard after two 50lb dogs needs to be as easy as possible. This scoop does it’s duty. We found that it works on several grass types as well as several poop types. Back in the day it was sold as just the scooper, now it comes with a scraper for added convenience. While it is not easy for us to get this scooper, it is 100% worth the trouble because it is the best scooper ever.
